O tempora, o mores! It’s a crying shame, really. Kiddos these days, they’ve completely lost touch with anything that even remotely resembles an inner world. Back in my day, we cared about things that mattered — books, philosophy, even a bit of existential dread for good measure. Now? Forget it! All they care about is their likes, the latest pair of overpriced sneakers, and keeping their nails perfectly manicured. As if a polished pedicure is going to give them any insight into the mysteries of the universe! And don’t even get me started on their obsession with avocado toast and overpriced lattes. Fashionable nonsense, all of it! Thank heavens there are still folks like me around, who might not be gracing the covers of any magazines, but let me tell you, I’ve got depth! All that’s left for me to figure out is what kind of ridiculous competition we’re even in…
